What Are Molded & Micron Filter Bags?

Also known as industrial filtration bags, these disposable, pouch-like filters are designed to capture contaminants from liquids as they flow through. Recognized for their high dirt-holding capacity, filtration precision, and ease of use, they are typically placed inside a dedicated housing (called a bag filter vessel or bag filter housing). During operation, the liquid passes from the inside of the bag to the outside, effectively trapping particles within the filter media.

How They Work (The Process)

Collection: The filtered liquid exits the housing through the outlet port.
Installation: The used bag is removed, and a new, clean bag is inserted into the housing.
Contaminant Capture: Particles larger than the pore size of the media are trapped inside the bag.
Disposal: Once clogged, the bag is replaced with a new one.
Filtration: The liquid is pumped into the inlet of the housing and directed inside the bag.
